Immerse yourself in campus living

Residential Life is a critical component of the Fulbright University Vietnam experience. Our Residential Life team strives to provide a safe, supportive, inclusive, and engaging residential environment for all students living in our residential facilities. Beyond this though, our residential model supports lifelong learning by integrating the intellectual and social lives of our students. These valuable living and learning experiences outside the classroom will focus on embracing diversity, interpersonal development, communication skills, and the empowerment of independence. Such experiences contribute significantly to student success.

Our Fulbright Residences

At the Docklands residence, students are provided with basic appliances and furniture. Each student will be equipped with a mattress, a study desk, a study chair, and a study lamp. Students will be sharing bunkbeds and closets.

Docklands Residence

Docklands Residence is the official residence for Fulbright students. It’s located at Nguyen Thi Thap Street, Tan Phu Ward, District 07, Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam. There will be 7 students living in one apartment unit. Each unit consists of 3 bedrooms (Bedroom 1 & 3: two students, Bedroom 2: three students).

Upcoming Residence in District 9

Fulbright’s flagship campus is located on a 15-hectare site in the center of Saigon High Tech Park in District 9, Ho Chi Minh City.

Programs built for life on campus

At Fulbright, we aim to create an inclusive and creative community in both learning at the campus and living in the residence. Therefore, students, especially who choose to live in Fulbright Residence, are provided with three different programs during the academic year. These programs are managed and organized by the Residential Life team to fulfill the basic needs of students, support them with any physical or mental issues, and record information that is useful for further program development.

Bustle

The Residential Life team organizes a series of activities in order to connect students in the community and help establish a healthy and safe environment for living and learning. These activities will focus on nurturing critical thinking, communication skills, diversity, and creativity.

Fullife

This is a platform on social media to provide students certain information or updates. Through this channel, residential students and staff can interact and connect with each other, creating a sense of community for students living in Fulbright Residence.
Also, Fullife is centered on a distinctive theme and strives to provide supportive and inclusive content where students can engage with various topics and ideas, exploring their personal identity, as well as enhancing their living-learning environment.

WeCARE

WeCARE (C.A.R.E stands for come, ask, respond and embrace) is one of the Residential Life team initiatives to support students wellbeing. It primarily operates within the setting of the residence through one-on-one conversations with a Resident Advisor/ Student Resident Advisor that are guided by a suggested set of prompts customized to the context of a resident’s experience, self-care packages, and wellbeing campaigns.
